To say that wines are complex and diverse is an understatement. As a way to keep things simple, wines are classified according to the type of grape used and the region where it is grown. You can take your pick from a wide variety of red (full, medium, and light-bodied), rosé, white (rich, zesty, and sweet), dessert, and sparkling wines.
